Express is searching for a Collections Representative for our client in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego. This is a great opportunity to join a national leader in construction restoration. This is a full-time, evaluation-hire position leading to great benefits and vacation/holiday/paid time off.
As a Collections Representative, you will interface with customers to research and resolve outstanding issues to obtain payment. Your duties will include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department.
Pay rate: $22 – 23/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (may vary)
Account Representative Job Highlights:
- Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process, and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
- Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
- Must communicate and follow up effectively with the sales team regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
