Job Title: Commercial Property Research Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Commercial Property Research Analyst to join our team. As a Commercial Property Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on commercial real estate markets, properties, and trends. Your insights and reports will support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on commercial real estate markets, including supply and demand dynamics, rental rates, occupancy rates, and market trends.

2. Collect and analyze data on commercial properties, including sales transactions, leasing activity, property valuations, and market comparables.

3. Evaluate investment opportunities by performing financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, investment returns, and risk assessments.

4. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations based on research findings to support investment strategies and decision-making processes.

5. Stay up-to-date with industry news, market trends, and economic factors that impact the commercial real estate sector.

6. Collaborate with the acquisitions and asset management teams to provide insights and support investment strategies.

7. Utilize various research tools and databases to gather and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

8. Build and maintain relationships with brokers, industry professionals, and market experts to gather market intelligence and enhance research capabilities.

9. Present research findings and insights to internal stakeholders, clients, and investors as required.

Qualifications:

1. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and research methodologies.

2. Solid understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, market dynamics, and investment principles.

3. Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and software such as CoStar, Crexi, TenX, LoopNet, ARGUS, and Microsoft Excel.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and findings in a clear and concise manner.

5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.

6. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex real estate data and draw meaningful conclusions.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

8. Knowledge of local and regional commercial real estate markets is a plus.
