Commercial Roofing Site Manager - Technical Assurance Inc., a national building enclosure consulting group, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team. Technical Assurance manages building enclosure consulting and design for assignments of varied size, scope and geographical location. As a multi‐state professional firm, we have successfully delivered program solutions across all 50 states. Qualified candidates must possess knowledge of commercial building envelope systems, client relation skills, basic computer skills and be willing to travel.

Specialized building enclosure credentials are preferred but not required. Coverage area to include (but not limited to): Baltimore, MD; Philadelphia; Allentown/Lancaster/York, PA; Freehold and/or Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building envelope assets (roofs, walls, windows, doors, hardscapes) with a focus on what is needed to preserve and extend the system’s lifecycle
• Assess the condition of the exterior building systems (roofs, walls, windows, doors, hardscapes), including the identification of active leak issues, the overall condition and deterioration
• Make specific recommendations based on the inspection/assessment
• Ensure that the assessment reports, proposals and information required to serve the client are properly prepared and reported in accordance with company administrative policies
• Respond to all technical and warranty questions accurately and in a timely fashion
• Verify materials comply with specifications
• Utilize standard forms and templates to complete consulting observation reports, including the upload of photos
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with building enclosure systems on commercial facilities, including inspections and quality observation services.
• Knowledge of all common building enclosure systems and ability to identify and record building enclosure system deficiencies.
• Ability to access building sites to inspect and assess the building enclosure, and/or to inspect and observe building envelope remediation construction projects.
• Ability to estimate the age and remaining service life of all common commercial building enclosure systems.
• Read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to observe in-process building enclosure construction replacement or repair project work, and to confirm the work is being performed in accordance with Construction Documents (plans/specs).
• Ability to provide various professional service reporting functions.
• Technically competent with field data collection tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to travel
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to communicate with Building Owner’s Representatives about building enclosure contractor construction progress, and/or problems that may arise and proper course of corrective action.

Must be a United States citizen and able to show proof of citizenship (permissible under Title VII bona fide occupational qualification).

This position may require you to undergo a Federal Government security clearance process for work in classified or highly restricted areas. This process carries with it mandatory drug screening and substantial background check.
