We're on the lookout for caring and compassionate team members to join Angelic Hospice. For people facing a serious or life-limiting illness or injury, hospice care involves a team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our marketing team as a Community Liaison for the Camden County territory!
A summary of duties includes:
1. The Community Liaison proactively seeks opportunities to meet with referral sources and to build positive working relationships that help to build future referrals.
2. Identifies and facilitates educational opportunities. Performs various activities with contracted skilled nursing facilities, personal care homes, assisted living facilities, senior housing communities, senior centers and the like in targeted areas to increase awareness about the agency’s programs and services and build relationships.
3. Develops and maintains ongoing, positive relationships with key contractors, discharge planners and other facilities with a focus on providing attentive customer service.
4. Attends all scheduled sales, marketing and agency meetings.
5. Reports changes in targeted facility staff and structure and its possible effects, and presents to management, as appropriate, action plans for those changing situations.
6. As appropriate, presents speaking engagements and in-services to the facility staff, general public, professional groups, contractors and others relative to care and services provided
by hospice in order to promote the agency’s program of care and services.
7. Conducts all business activities in a professional and ethical manner and adheres to the agency’s Code of Conduct.

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Two years’ experience required within the area of Hospice.
  • Sales and Marketing experience required
  • A professional attitude and demeanor and be able to communicate effectively and relate courteously and cooperatively with patients, caregivers, colleagues, supervisor, co-workers and all others is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate optimism, enthusiasm and willingness to work constructively with other hospice team members and reflect concern for the well-being of patients and others.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation for field use.
  • Possess satisfactory references and pass criminal background, national sex offender, drug and motor vehicle checks.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting. Also required is driving, writing, speaking, relating to others, making independent decisions, listening and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift and carry.
