Companions Requirements:
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking the English language to effectively and accurately communicate with
residents, co-workers and supervisors.
- Sufficient proficiency in reading and writing the English language to accurately follow written directions and
complete required forms.
- Ability to communicate calmly and effectively with angry, demanding, critical, agitated residents and families.
Problem solving skills
- Ability to identify ways to work effectively with difficult people including residents, family, facility staff
from all facility departments.
