Customer Compliance & Diversion Surveillance Analyst I
Our Dublin, Ohio location is seeking a Customer Compliance & Diversion Surveillance Analyst I to work a 50% Hybrid position. The successful candidate will ensure that the company has access to safe and effective pharmaceutical and control substance products for our customers while protecting against fraud, deception and unsafe practices in the distribution, handling and use of these products. Under the direction of the Regulatory and Compliance Supervisor, ensures that processes are maintained and that the company is compliant with all federal and state laws on all products distributed. Will collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Credit, Sales, and Marketing to represent regulatory compliance strategies, policies, and procedures in order to ensure compliance; escalates to management when appropriate. Responsible for communicating with both internal and external customers. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst I will work on cross-functional teams and support regulatory strategies in meetings as an active member.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
  • Maintains current knowledge base for existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents
  • Assists with the preparation of additional information or responses as requested by regulatory agencies
  • Analyzes product data and advises or provides recommendation for reportability
  • Organizes information and documentation /systems to ensure completeness and ease of use
  • Participates in internal and external audits as appropriate
  • Conducts regulatory training for internal and external customers as appropriate
  • Provides metric data in areas of responsibilities/task
  • Accountable to duties in compliance with established business requirements and Covetrus SOPs
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate degree or comparable related work experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Biology, Health Administration, Animal Health, Business, Nursing, Pharmacy, Microbiology.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of work-related work-related experience with exposure to a regulatory compliance knowledge environment preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • 50% Hybrid Position within our Dublin, Ohio location.
  • Travel is less than 5%
