The Manager of Regulatory Compliance is a remote position which requires travel to our Outpatient Clinics throughout the United States. Travel is approximately 25%.

The Manager of Regulatory Compliance is responsible for overseeing the regulatory compliance functions for Rogers Outpatient Clinics. May include some compliance functions for all levels of care for Rogers Behavioral Health Hospitals, located in Brown Deer, West Allis, and Oconomowoc. This includes leading the development and execution of the division's compliance plan activities to ensure survey preparedness and response while advancing the capabilities of the division's employees to execute these concepts. The Manager will also lead and complete ongoing audits for all programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines. The manager will oversee the process filings needed to maintain appropriate licensing and accreditation certifications.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides high quality regulatory advice and is seen as a valued strategic partner to the operations
  • Support the development and execution of a divisional plan that assures Joint Commission (JC) accreditation, CMS conditions of participation, and other regulatory licensure.
  • Completes a quarterly review of all data related to incident trends, program audits with plans developed to take necessary action for meeting all regulatory requirements within the division.
  • Leads a team of regulatory professionals in the execution of all audits, incident, and investigations to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Department, and other divisions within compliance including but not limited to such functions as risk management, coding & billing concerns, legislative review, compliance implementation initiatives, contract concerns, etc.
  • Seeks out and implements proactive initiatives to improve and enhance the regulatory compliance and efficiency for the team
  • Supports and encourages a collaborative, inclusive, and open culture for the team
  • Ability to travel to our Outpatient Clinics up to 25% of the time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare, business administration, or related field. (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Health Care Compliance certification (Preferred).
  • Experiencing conducting audits for state regulatory agencies or accreditation agencies (preferred)
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ compliance experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Joint Commission, State, and Federal regulatory requirements and risk management responsibilities.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience with managing teams, direct reports, or projects.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and must be granted insurable status by the Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance policy.
