Position Overview
The Audit Technician performs processing of I.T. assets through production which includes:
· Cleaning and removing labels from equipment
· Critical data security functions including physical destruction in the form of degaussing and shredding hard drives and logical data destruction in the form of software erasure
· Evaluating, auditing, and testing equipment
· Gathering data from equipment and entering the information into our Inventory Management System.
· Input test results and assign grades to items based on the company’s grading system
· Reconfiguring hardware as needed
· Tagging Equipment with inventory labels for warehouse tracking
· Assist the Material Controls Associate with picking and packing orders
· Assist the Shipping and Receiving Associate with receiving equipment
Requirements and Qualifications
· Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or relevant experience preferred
· Knowledge of I.T. system hardware is a plus
· Be able to work with minimum supervision and meet expected requirements in the form of deadlines or quotas
· Be self-motivated and eager to exceed goals
· Be willing to work overtime when required
· Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
· Ability to lift 20 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds on occasion
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and computer keyboard for data entry
· Must be aligned with the organization’s core values with an emphasis on accountability, honesty, and integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
