Now Seeking customer service and hospitality Pros to serve as Workplace Concierge/Floor Ambassadors. This role will assisting building occupants in navigating services and ensuring they have a 5-Star customer service experience.

The ideal candidates must have at least 2 years in a hospitality-centered customer service role. Must have a proven track record in customer service and excel at providing a top-notch customer experience. The right candidates will be upbeat, energetic, self-motivated, creative thinkers and computer savvy. Vaccination required. APPLY TODAY!!


General Responsibilities:

  • Handles customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, email, or in person routing issue to the appropriate party, and recording recurring problem areas.
  • Provides immediate assistance to customers as requested.
  • Maintains a method to document, track and research customer inquiries, data input, room inventory, etc
  • Shares recurrent problems identified by customer input.
  • Reviews statistics and trends with appropriate personnel.
  • May respond to e-mail inquiries.
  • May send written communications in response to customer comment forms.
  • Identifies needs and makes recommendations for quality improvement that creates perceived value to customers.
  • Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
  • Provides travel directions.
  • May fulfill special service requests on an as needed basis. Multi-tasks and performs administrative duties as required.
  • Complies with all Sodexo HACCP/OSHA, and/ or local policies and procedures related to all assigned work.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned; such a project and presentation-based work.
  • To be visible to all users and build relationships with all levels of user.
  • To ensure the floor area is complaint to Health and Safety procedure.
  • To ensure that the floor area is compliant to environmental procedure.
  • To monitor and review the Multi Functional Devices around the floor
  • To monitor and review the Business centers and Coffee stations in the allocated areas
  • To work as part of the broader IFM team and coordinate services as needed.
  • To have a full working knowledge of the building including all services.

Position Summary:
The Concierge may work in many types of locations on client premises. Often one of the first points of contact in a Sodexo managed facility, the Concierge may be asked to fulfill many requests for a patient, visitor or other customer. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

  • Acts as a source of facility knowledge for clients, customers, and patients who seek information, guidance and assistance.
  • Responsible for providing concierge services to patients, visitors, guests etc.
  • If in Healthcare, must comply with all Sodexo or client HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
  • Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of Sodexo time and attendance policy and/or client operating hours.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1 or more years of related work experience.

Skills/Aptitude:

  • Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, patients, co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.

  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to use all relevant electronic and communication devices.
  • Applies basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position.

  • Considerable knowledge of a variety of customer service/hospitality concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • A certain degree of creativity and problem solving abilities is expected.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work.General Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):

  • Generally in an indoor setting; however, may participate in outside activities and events.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
