Construction Laborers/Drivers Needed

We are now hiring Construction Laborers/Driver’s to join our expanding team of talented individuals!!! Fun Outdoor Living is the leader in the Charlotte metro area for quality outdoor living spaces and we are seeking workers with construction experience who enjoy working outdoors, and have good driving records. We are a dynamic company of fun loving individuals that love to come together as an effective team to deliver a second-to-none experience for our customers. All applicants must have a good can do attitude, strong work ethic and get along well with co-workers.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Cleaning and preparing construction sites getting the area ready for construction to start.

Unloading and loading materials, operating machinery and using hand tools.

Trenching for lines, material handling, demolition, including salvaging usable or excess materials, loading, power washing, and job-site cleaning up.

Working in excess of a 40-hour week may be available

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner. Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat, a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift 50+ lbs.

Ability to work under inclement weather conditions such as cold or heat.

Must be able to pass an employment drug screening and background check.

Must have a driver’s license for over 2 years with a good driving record.

Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

Rate based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
