Job Summary: Responsible for implementing, administering, maintaining, and coordinating all safety policies, training, and inspections. Ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State standards. Candidate will manage and oversee all company, client, OSHA, and onsite safety programs and document all field safety observations.

Essential Functions:

• Attend safety meetings
• Coordinate with project managers
• Audit, submit and correct daily JSA's and PTP’s
• Monitor work sites for compliance with safety policies throughout the site and document activities as needed for daily/weekly reports.
• Perform daily safety audits of the work areas to ensure all safety protocols are applied.
• Coach employees on safe work practices, in compliance with federal guidelines and company regulations.
• Monitor the performance of critical safety tasks with contractors.
• Report safety incidents, accidents, near miss investigations when deemed necessary.
• Conduct safety orientation audits on crew.
• Properly use all required personal protection equipment
• Comply with jobsite guidelines to insure a clean, safe and hazard free work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customers or employees of an organization. Requirement:

• OSHA 30 (Required)
• OSHA 500, 510 or higher credential (Preferred)
• Certified Safety Professional (Preferred)
• Knowledge on AISC certification (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
