Construction Trades Recruiter Job at AtWork Personnel Services
AtWork Personnel is currently seeking a Construction Craft Recruiter with 10 - 15 years recruiting experience. Candidate must have a strong background in skilled trades and construction recruiting. This is a direct hire opportunity, working remotely with periodic travel to corporate office.
The candidate will be responsible for the recruiting needs of multiple trades (electrical, piping, welding, rigging and iron work). 10 -15 years of previous heavy industrial construction recruiting experience (searching, interviewing and hiring for electrical, piping, welding, rigging and iron workers) required. The Recruiter will be a critical member of the HR team and will manage the full recruiting process from start to finish. You must have high volume recruiting experience; experience conducting full interviews and craft testing virtually and experience searching for qualified candidates using various platforms. This can be a remote position, but you must be willing to travel periodically to the corporate office. 50 hours per week required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively execute full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties, competencies, qualifications and skills in a diverse industry
- Be creative and proactive in sourcing tactics to include but not limited to the use of internal and external job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking groups
- Actively network to recruit active and passive candidates for current positions and build talent pipelines for future opportunities
- Build relationships with hiring managers to evaluate talent, discuss competencies, and effectiveness of the interview process
- Execute tactical recruiting tasks including management of incoming requisitions and approvals, timely updates of requisition status, coordinate pre-employment testing, background checks, drug testing, and new hire paperwork
- Manage applicant tracking system
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade schools, colleges, and outreach programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in industrial recruiting to include multiple trades (electrical, piping, welding, rigging and iron work)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and diversity recruiting
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Excellent experience in multi-tasking in a fast environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,900.00 - $90,000.00 per year
