Our Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic creation, publication, and distribution of written, audio, and visual content assets across all our social media channels. Your role is to increase brand visibility and revenue through content and will require extensive knowledge of how to optimize the same piece of content across Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and numerous other platforms.
Successful candidates for this role combine innate creativity, excellent writing and storytelling skills, fluency in various editing and creative tools, a collaborative mindset and a deep attention to detail. What is our brand essence? Who are our target viewers? What is the substance and style of our content that will most resonate with our audience? Your role is to test, validate and refine the answers to these questions and build an integrated, cross channel content strategy that optimizes for engagement and growth. You will both personally write and produce a wide variety of content and work with colleagues, contractors, and others to increase the quality and quantity of our output.
Social Media:
You will work side by side with our community team to deepen and broaden engagement with our existing community members while also driving new member acquisition via social channels and organic traffic. You will manage of the business's social media profiles and presence, inclusive of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube among other channels in order to expand the business/product's online following.
Research and Analytics:
To continue to excel in your role, you will have to continue to deepen your domain expertise by:
- Conducting research and developing an understanding of the business's industry, the business/product's unique value proposition, and it's the product's market differentiators.
- Conducting extensive research on the challenges and priorities of the business's consumers and prospective consumers
- Formulating and conduct closed-loop analytics in order to understand how the business/product's inbound marketing activity translates into consumers, which will in turn refine the Content Marketer's process of turning in and reaching new consumers.
- Identifying core objectives for the content and develop metrics and methods for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the content.
SEO: The Content Marketing Manager also plays an active role in SEO.
- Play a leading role in the management of both on-page SEO and off-page SEO analysis and execution; improving organic search engine performance and setting goals based on click through rates, conversions, and traffic.
- Ensure that the content relates with the target audience and that the content actually finds the relevant audiences.
- Keep the business up to date on the latest SEO trends and changes on key search engines.
