We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to join our manufacturing industry team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial statement preparation, process improvement, balance sheet, general ledger, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and establishing and maintaining internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and lead a team of accounting professionals
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations.
