Coordinator, Internal Communications Job at AMC Theatres
This position will perform the necessary communication tasks as they relate to the use of the Workplace from Meta tool, such as system administration, content monitoring, and content/channel governance. This position will also perform any internal communications duties to support the company’s strategy, culture, and associate engagement, which includes writing and posting for the company’s core internal communication channels.

What you will be doing:
- System administration and subject-matter-expert of Workplace from Meta tool and its implementation
- Write content for the company’s core internal communication channels that supports company strategy, brings to life the company culture, and supports associate engagement
- Write and edit stories as needed to support company initiatives to internal audiences
- Plan and execute building/maintaining Workplace campaigns to ensure associate retention
- Serve as an expert on all AMC’s internal communication platforms, including editing and posting stories, and general management and maintenance
- Daily monitoring of primary corporate channels
- Prepare engagement reporting on an ongoing basis
- Provide expertise around engagement strategies and content sharing
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in technology, public relations, journalism, or communications; or commensurate experience
- 3+ year(s) of experience in technology, human resources, public relations, journalism, or corporate/agency communications
- Experience writing news stories or internal articles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional suite and applications
- Technically savvy with social media platforms / business collaboration platforms
- Strong attention to detail, including copy-editing skills
- Ability to draft engaging stories based on limited information
- Ability to provide analysis of data reports
- A demonstrated ability to interact with news media professionally and responsibly
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Ability to be available on occasion after hours and on weekends as the job requires
- 1+ year(s) of experience working with Digital workspaces, social media platforms, or business collaboration platforms such as Workplace from Meta, Yammer, Slack, etc.
- Copy-editing experience
- Technical knowledge of SharePoint
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to maximize media contact lists
