Major Duties:

  • Assist Senior Brand Manager/Manager in the marketing support of Revlon Eye & Tools (Global)
  • Be a category expert with a deep and broad knowledge of consumer insights, competitive landscape, and emergent trends.
  • Maintain current and active knowledge of all innovation and launch performance for brand and competitors.
  • Lead competitive analysis and regularly updates Director and Senior Manager on new activity and insights
  • Analyze the potential of new product feasibility (sales and profit analysis, forecasting, competitive review target audience, pricing, etc), manage NPD database, and prepare documents to facilitate stage-gate approval.
  • Initiate development and tracking of all creative elements from briefs, comps, packaging, sampling, in-store collateral and merchandising, social, advertising, web.
  • Support Director and Senior Manager to update presentations and marketing materials.
  • Track, proof, and approve all artwork relating to the new and existing product packaging.
  • Update and issue monthly brand information library’ document that provides regional and sales teams key details on strategic updates and new product launch progress.
  • Create/track POs and brand support spending to achieve budgeted levels.
  • Manage new product samples, mockup the creation, and team product closet.
  • Create product codes in the SAP system.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Flexibility and team player – Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Time/project management skills and ability to prioritize projects as necessary.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, PR, or fashion.
  • Experience in color cosmetics and/or beauty and/or personal care categories is a plus.
  • Must be passionate about the beauty/personal care industry.

Minimum Education Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a business/marketing focus.

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $50,000 - 60,000/ year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.
