seeks a full-time creative content media manager. This position will help implement the division’s communications strategic plan and drive internal consensus around an ongoing public relations agenda to provide stakeholders and consumers with meaningful information that helps them understand the importance of forest land management, fire management, conservation education, forest marketing and industry leadership, and how they need to rethink their beliefs, attitudes, and values as they relate to these issues.
The position will assist the Unit Leader with text and visual content creation for:
· Launch and maintenance for four major campaigns – ProtectTNForests, LearnPlanActTennessee, TNWildlandFire, and TNWoodProducts
o Social media – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
o Publication development
o Website development and maintenance
o Campaign communications planning and implementation
o Campaign roll out implementation
o Content capture, production, and management – video and photography
· Miscellaneous project demands that come from the State Foresters office, including other units, as well as district offices.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
