THE ROLE

The Copywriter will write copy to support two of our brands in the fashion retail industry. This person will work closely with marketing and creative teams. The position requires experience writing online, consumer-facing copy and an understanding of eCommerce best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Write concise, conversion-oriented copy for two major retail brand clients that is inspiring, consistent, creative and keeps with the tone of each brand
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop seasonal concepts and campaigns
• Write for several channels, including email, website, blogs, landing pages, social media, paid channels, and more
• Ensure quality and accuracy of all copy and retrieve any missing information, and ensure copy meets legal and regulatory standards as determined by internal teams
• Update, edit, and/or revise on-site product copy

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree; English, Journalism, or something comparable
• 1+ years’ writing marketing focused copy
• Online retail, lifestyle, e-commerce experience preferred
• Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Ability to multi-task, communicate with key stakeholders, and do research to gather all details necessary to bring ideas to life
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
