Foreign Language Services Simulation, LLC. (FLSS) is currently looking for talented individuals to be placed as Role Players in accordance with a specific TSA contract requirements at the TSA Training Center (FFDO) College Park, Georgia

Priority hires for current Existing (TSA Role Players) or former military, law enforcement, and veterans, but if you have OPFOR experience, you may apply as well. This position is open to all genders.

Qualifications:

Applicants must reside/live locally, as there will be no travel and Per Diem provided.

A. Provides day-to-day support to the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO), and Canine Training Center(CTC) training programs, aiding in the reality-based training drills and scenarios.

B. Required to “live” a role through the use of inflexible scripted scenarios and on an impromptu basis.

C. Adapt roles as needed in a realistic manner as the training situation dictates.

D. All Actors/Role Players Personnel are required to have the ability to conduct the following tasks:

1) Stand for long periods of time

2) Lift at least 35 pounds

3) Lie in the prone position for long periods of time

4) Be handcuffed utilizing approved training handcuffs for long periods of time in various positions, i.e. standing, sitting.

5) Utilize various training aids, not limited too but including the following: Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) firearms, marking cartridges, training knives, and inert improvised explosive devices.

6) Must be willing to participate in reality-based training utilizing approved Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) firearms and marking cartridges (UTM/Simmunition); all protective equipment will be provided by the Contractor.

7) All individuals working with the CTC must not have a fear or emotional response of canines or being smelled by canines.

8) All individuals working with the CTC must not have an allergy to canines.

9) Individuals working with the CTC will be exposed and in contact with live explosive materials and devices.

E. Training on the use of NLTA firearms, marking cartridges (UTM/Simmunition), and protective equipment will be completed by a FAMS/CTC or FFDO Instructor who is certified in Non-Lethal Training Ammunition or equivalent.

Requirements:

1) Be at least 18 years of age.

2) Possess or able to possess a driving license by the time of hire.

3) No record or conviction of drug abuse/involvement or alcohol abuse.

4) No criminal record, except minor traffic offenses. Minor traffic offenses do not include driving under the influence.

5) No conviction of a felony/misdemeanor crime or domestic violence.

6) Speak, read, and write English at the high school level.

7) Must receive a favorable “eligibility of determination” suitability check through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Personnel Security (PerSec).

8) Any other requirements not listed, which are utilized by the Contractor for use in hiring.

Work Schedule:

Actors/Role Players services will primarily be required between the hours of 0600 through 1800, weekdays excluding Federal holidays. However, work hours may begin before 0600 or be extended past 1800 based on the requirements of the TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC Training Programs.

Actors/Role Players support services will be a minimum of four-hours per day per Actors/Role Players with the exception of demonstrations and remedial sessions which will be a minimum of two-hours per day per Actors/Role Player. After the four-hours or two-hours are fulfilled, role player services will be utilized on an hourly basis.

Weekends may be required throughout the year primarily when a holiday occurs during the workweek or dictated by the requirements of the TSA, FAMS, FFDO, and CTC Training Programs.
