POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a highly talented and enthusiastic Creative Director who is passionate about creating inspiring copy that grabs people's attention? If so, we are looking for you to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the creative direction of our copywriting team and developing highly effective copy for a variety of clients across various platforms. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing compelling, creative, and highly effective copy that drives results while injecting a sense of excitement and energy into the message.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the creative team, account managers, and clients to develop highly effective and inspiring copy that aligns with the brand's overall strategy and objectives.
- Lead the copywriting team and manage the copywriting process from ideation to execution, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the high-energy standards of our agency.
- Develop highly effective and engaging copy that captures the audience's attention and motivates them to take action across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and broadcast advertising.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends to ensure our work is on the cutting edge of advertising best practices while remaining energetic and exciting.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the copywriting team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment that encourages the development of new ideas and strategies that keep things energetic and exciting.
- Manage the client relationship and lead creative meetings/presentations to the client.
- Remain current on industry trends, pop culture, and technology.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 12+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a proven track record of developing highly effective, energetic, and exciting copy that drives results.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of the advertising industry and the ability to create compelling, creative, and highly effective copy across various platforms that spark excitement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and effectively manage the copywriting process from ideation to execution.
- A strong understanding of brand strategy and the ability to develop copy that aligns with the brand's overall objectives while injecting excitement and energy into the messaging.
- A passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to staying up to date with industry trends and best practices while maintaining an energetic and exciting approach.
- Experience working with large teams in client-facing role.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
