Based in Downtown Spokane. Looking for FT or PT Custodian

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grounds and Custodial Laborer. This position will be responsible for performing light grounds maintenance duties for 25% of their time and custodial duties for the remaining 75% of their time. The successful candidate will have experience with lawn care, gardening, and general grounds maintenance or a strong desire to learn the role.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Grounds Maintenance (25% of time):
  • Mow, weed-wack, and edge lawns
  • Trim shrubs and hedges
  • Rake leaves and debris
  • Police grounds for litter and trash

• 
  Custodial (75% of time):
  • Clean and maintain restrooms
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust furniture, walls, and fixtures
  • Clean water fountains and drinking stations
  • Collect trash and recycling

Education/Experience:

• 
  We prefer applicants with at least six months custodial experience, but will train the right candidate.
• You must have respect and empathy for individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to interact with others in a professional environment.

  Must pass local background check
• Must pass Federal Background check

Compensation & Benefits:

  This is an hourly paid position.
• Pay is issued every two weeks.
• As required by the Service Contract Act, Skils'kin pays an additional fringe benefit amount per hour toward the employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401K.
• Employees also earn paid time off.
