About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Content Strategist who brings both a strategic and creative mindset to support the design and deployment of global integrated communication campaigns and programs within Boston Scientific’s Cardiac Rhythm Management and Diagnostics business. This individual is a member of the Customer Activation team and will be self-directed, holding responsibility for developing and executing integrated communication plans and designing flexible strategies that can translate and proliferate content across multiple tactics, audiences and measurable channels (digital, events, sales enablement). This person must find meaning and significance in the metrics associated with content performance and engagement to effectively measure success and support the goals of our business and its customers/end users.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create global integrated content strategies for product, portfolio, disease-driven programs and campaigns within the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Diagnostics business, including, but not limited to:
    • The development of communication and content proliferation plans, communication/touchpoint journeys, content audits, creative briefs, editorial calendars, content taxonomies, messaging architecture and migration plans
    • The initiation of creative integration and content information-gathering and sharing sessions to support team hand-offs for cross-functional execution, implementation, digital activation and omni-channel efforts
    • The maintenance of projects and programs within allocated resources, providing agile methods for content development, refactoring, utilization and optimization
    • The integration of content plans into commercial, campaign and channel plans
  • Guide copywriters and content development efforts to ensure clear, consistent and engaging content—with the willingness to edit and upcycle content as necessary
  • Contribute to global product positioning, value proposition, messaging, persona and core creative development working in collaboration with campaign managers, marketers and product experts across the business
  • Ensure consistency in use and application of the Boston Scientific brand to satisfy standards
  • Communicate proactively to all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines, budgets and logistics
  • Align with communications industry trends in the era of digital transformation
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 3+ years proven, B2B experience in deploying successful marketing communications campaigns or programs
  • Copywriting and/or editing experience
  • Competent in building content strategies, communication frameworks and integrated plans

Preferred qualifications:

  • B2B experience in deploying successful marketing communications campaigns or programs
  • within medical device, healthcare industries, or highly regulated environment
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable juggling multiple changing priorities
  • Strong project management, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders without direct authority
  • Medical device experience and agency experience
