We are an ophthalmology office located in the Sierra Foothils seeking a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist who possesses the ability to communicate effectively with both young and old patients. We would love to see someone with excellent phone management skills using a multi-line telephone system. The job requirements will also include faxing medical documents and scanning medical documents into patient records. The ability to schedule appointments is extremely important as is copying all insurance cards and processing credit card payments. Computer skills are also required to search for and obtain all necessary insurance information from various websites. The ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independently is necessary as well. We look forward to meeting you in person. Requirements You will play a key role in representing a practice within the community. You will be responsible for interacting with guests in a healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the medical team. Their duties include scheduling patient appointments according to Doctor availability, explaining intake forms to new patients, and processing payments after treatment.
