Shift: 2nd

Schedule: 1400-2230 five shifts per week, flexibility in start/end time is required to meet departmental needs. This work schedule does include weekends and holidays as needed in addition to on-call rotation.

Job Summary:
Performs various routine duties associated with patient encounters; works effectively with other healthcare personnel to provide efficient and effective services; promotes efficient and high quality care and satisfaction; establishes and directs the daily workflow of the Phlebotomy team. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical lab setting.
• Demonstrated upward progression in Phlebotomy or Clinical Lab setting.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved Phlebotomy Training program, ASCP certification is preferred

Professional and friendly disposition; ability to work under sometimes stressful situations. Excellent customer service, organizational, and motivational skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to effectively train employees and students using different teaching/training styles and methods.
