Cutter/Packer Job at GSA Staffing
Job description
GSA Staffing is currently hiring for Air Filter Cutters and Packers in the Richmond, VA area for a full-time assignment. Shift 4:00 pm to 2:00am. Monday - Thursday. A fast-paced production facility is looking for individuals with the following abilities:
· Accurately cut and measure air filters
· The ability to make clean, precise cuts when separating filters.
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Machinery adjustments according to specifications
· Ability to stand and lift throughout the shift
· Boxing and packing of filters, preparing them to be shipped.
· Filters must be inspected to ensure that they’re not damaged, and packaged according to specifications and transport them carefully as needed to bring them to shipping facilities.
· Maintains warehouse inventory by arranging boxes and making sure they’re stored in a way that they won’t be damaged.
· Track all orders, packaging, and shipping in order to ensure inventory is accurately recorded.
· Responsible for maintaining general cleanliness in the warehouse.
· Accurately follow instructions
· Pass a background test/ drug screen
We are looking for employees that thrive meeting deadlines and take pride in their work. Excellent attendance and a positive attitude are a must. You will be standing for your 4 hour shift cutting a “bank” of 5 filters into individual filters. Cell phone usage is not allowed during work hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
