In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to troubleshoot, locate and repair nonperforming Diesel engines from the production line.
• Receive incoming engines, check for damage and for discrepancies.
• Accurately and efficiently complete repairs on incoming engines
• Dispatch outgoing repaired engines according to operation procedures.
• Document issues found and repairs made.
• Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Minimum 3 years diesel mechanic experience required
• Experience as a team lead or have leadership experience
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume manufacturing setting.
• Requires certification or sufficient experience in operating powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, forklift, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
• Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
• Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
