National Vision is currently looking for a Managed Care Data Analyst to join our growing team!
This role will require working in our Duluth, GA office and is not a remote role!
The role supports Managed Care Operations in contributing value-added analysis for multiple divisions by analyzing trends, researching data integrity claims, and working with other departments in testing and implementing new business systems, programs and reporting. This role helps develop technical requirements and comprehensive solutions to extract and transform data from various source systems for business use.
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
- Supports Managed Care Operations with standard reporting as well as ad hoc report analysis on an as needed basis.
- Creates and generates automated Dashboards or Share point systems for Managed Care divisions used for End user Production tracking, Management Monitoring Tools, Goal Seeking indicators and standard report cards.
- Researches account data utilizing exception based reporting and other data systems to identify and analyze patterns and trends related to payment variances.
- Compiles, organizes, and conducts analysis of data to uncover insights that lead to increased productivity, increases payment recovery, and determines cost effective strategies.
- Orchestrates and leverages business partner leadership in simplifying and streamlining business processes, bridging business and technology divide with quality solutions, building trust and implementing company-wide business value.
- Designs and develops intuitive, interactive, and user-experience optimized BI reports and dashboards in SAP Webi/SAP Analytics cloud or similar tools.
- Independently analyzes and identifies areas of risk and opportunity within the business, brings observations to the attention of Management along with resolution recommendations.
- Creates and modifies automated recurring reporting and develops automated reports for Managed Care Operations per divisional needs
- Performs ad hoc analysis using data from different sources (source systems, data warehouse, external websites, etc.).
- Coordinates the development and maintenance of key performance measurements and collaborates with divisional Managers to assess operational improvements (existing and future) to track key performance metrics and efficiencies.
- Actively participates in UAT testing for the practice system and user applications for impending releases.
- Devises and maintains a Share Point platform for Managed Care Operations containing key repositories, links, KB’s and working tools with security access by user role.
- Generates exception reporting for under paid claims with supporting documentation for the purpose of end user retraining sessions and/or payer escalations.
- Keeps track of Plan Variance Processing Escalations with a log of Receipts Recovery by Payer.
- Identifies and analyzes system needs by gathering requirements and defining scope.
- Interprets analytics to determine whether potential exceptions exist and communicates the results to the audit team.
- Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts.
- Trains, documents, and supports the Managed Care Teams with utilizing self-service reporting tools (Business Objects Web Intelligence ,SAP Analytic Cloud, Query, Dashboards).
- Four year college degree or equivalent experience. Required
- 4-6 years Business/Financial Analyst experience including Data Analysis/Data Relationship Management, Data Warehousing and Report Writing (Required)
- 4-6 years Proven experience in a wide range of analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques and tools to derive insights from large, complex data environments (Required)
- 2-4 years Experience with financial calculations and metrics (Required)
- 2-4 years Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques (Required)
- Experience with SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytic Cloud, or other Business Intelligence and Cloud based modeling experience (i.e. Power BI, Anaplan, Tableau). Required
- Experience using SQL or other relational database languages. Required
- Experience with data query/data management tools. Required
