We are currently seeking a responsible, energetic, and creative individual to take a lead role in overseeing one of our popular camp programs. As a Day Camp Program Coordinator, you will assist in having a positive impact on young, active minds.
Key Responsibilities:
This position must be available to work approximately 25-30 hrs/wk throughout the summer programming season May through mid-August. Must be available to work during the summer months from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will:
- Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate program activities including special events to meet program needs.
- Coordinate all staffing needs and provide direct supervision of 7 - 10 daycamp counselors (indirect supervision of inclusion staff)
- Evaluate and motivate staff while encouraging creative idea sharing to continually improve the programming
This important role will also regularly communicate with parents and program participants, while providing oversight of administrative functions including timesheets, registration, scheduling, calendars, and expenditures including purchasing supplies/equipment/inventory within budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
High school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. A minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in recreation/education field. A minimum of 2 years of related supervisory experience is required. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and passion for working with school age children is required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license is required. CPR/AED/FA certifications are required.

Hourly rate: $16.85.
