Daycare Floater Job at SmartStart Day School
SmartStart Day School is hiring for an afternoon part time Floater or Teacher Assistant.
We are a high quality early education program with ages ranging from 30 months through kindergarten. We are open year round Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm, with the exception of closure for three separate weeks during the year. We are looking for someone available to work afternoons, approximately 1:00-6:00 pm, we have some flexibility with schedule and number of hours. Potential to go into F/T position overtime.

Education/Experience:
*Experience with children preferred but not required
*CPR/First Aid (or working towards), TB test
*Excellent Communication Skills, team player, great with children
*Highschool diploma, or working towards
Job Responsibilities:
* Strong ability to work with young children in a caring manner
*Implement SmartStart's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
*Organize and maintain a clean environment by helping with our opening/closing duties
*Assist with supervision indoors and outdoors
*Ability to lift at least 50lbs
*Follow licensing and Covid guidelines
