Global Systems Technologies is seeking Warehouse Laborers.
DCRF - Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) Warehouse Manager will provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) including sustainment support over the life cycle of the equipment sets and refresh/ re-certification support following a unit’s relief from the DCRF mission. The follow-on sustainment period and equipment refresh phases are for the Urban Search and Rescue (US&R), Mass Casualty Decontamination (MCD) with attached General-Purpose Forces (GPF), RECON, Medical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Mortuary Affairs and Contaminated Remains Mitigation Site (MACRMS) sets. The warehouse will be approximately 70, 0000 square feet.
Warehouse Laborer will provide sustainment through total supply and service support (equipment, repair parts, unique durables and consumables purchase, shipping, inventory, shelf-life management, inspections, testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, repairs, accountability, storage of Government Property.
The laborer is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
Responsibilities
A Warehouse Laborer completes various tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage and shipment processes. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Provides input to Logistics Information System (LIS)
- Collecting equipment and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
- Receiving and documenting equipment for delivery or return.
- Keeping an inventory of all equipment entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the equipment is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all equipment with appropriate care.
- Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
- Scanning labels to ensure equipment is shipped to the right destination.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and lift 50 pounds.
