We are located in Boston on the T and are looking for a dental assistant to join our team!

We are a fun and friendly group of people who work hard and all appreciate each other. We're looking for an assistant with strong people and organizational skills who is detail oriented. Experience and radiation certification is necessary!

Prior dental assisting experience necessary, oral surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records and all OSHA and HIPPA regulations

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certification
• Radiology Certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills- Dentrix knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to Detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like Zoom and assistance with Cerec (Preferred, but not required)
• Experience with Dentrix (Preferred, but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
