South Cove Community Health Center is the premier Asian primary health care provider in the Greater Boston area. We have been providing value-based health care to the Boston Chinatown’s community for over 50 years and have expanded our delivery of care into the cities of Quincy and Malden. We now offer many services including: medical, dental, optometry, obstetrics and gynecology, behavioral health, imaging, and many other services. Assist dentist or other dental staff in patient’s management including 4-handed dental procedures. Set-up and maintain a clean and well stocked work are including instruments, equipment, chair and supplies in the operatories assigned. Participates in universal precaution and infection control. Perform duties as requested by the dentists, e.g. taking impressions, taking radiographs, comforting patients, giving oral health and preventive instructions. Obtain, update and up-keep of patients’ record including radiographs. Assist dentist in preparing patient’s cases e.g. pouring models, fabricating custom trays and etc. Maintain a clean, well stocked and orderly laboratory including maintaining equipment e.g. all-pro, autoclave, grinders and etc. and updates the inventory; order supplies as needed. Participate in staff meetings, assigned meetings and in-service meetings when appropriate. At least 1 year experience.
