Kane and Kerper Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is searching for a personable and friendly front office team member to join us!
Responsibilities for this role include entering patient information onto our data system, answering patients’ questions, verifying insurance benefits and helping us keep our patients healthy by scheduling them for regular care.
To be successful in this role, organization and multitasking is important. Ultimately, performing all duties in a manner that ensures the efficiency of the dental practice.
Front Office Duties & Responsibilities
● Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
● Scheduling appointments
● Assisting patients with completing forms
● Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules
● Updating patients’ records and documenting recent treatments and procedures
● Communicating with insurance companies
● Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed
● Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, scanning and emailingFront Office Requirements
● At least six months of dental office experience is beneficial
● Excellent customer service skills
● Sound knowledge of dental terminology
● Proficient in dental practice management software
● Good telephone etiquette
● Exceptional organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
