About the Position:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Development Coordinator. This position will be responsible for helping to drive revenue growth and manage donor relationships to support Touching Heart's mission. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to create and implement fundraising strategies and manage fundraising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals
• Manage donor relationships, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals
• Collaborate with program staff and volunteers to identify funding opportunities and write grant proposals
• Create and maintain reports on fundraising performance and progress towards goals
• Participate in networking and outreach activities to build relationships with potential donors and partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, sales, or marketing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• A passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to Touching Heart's mission

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Please note, while the majority of the work can be done remotely, candidates must reside in Herndon, VA or the surrounding area and be able to meet in-person on occasion.
