Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Dietary Clerk to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

Dietary Clerk Responsibilities

• Work with the facility’s Dietician and implement recommended changes as required
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
• Maintain PCC for resident admissions, discharges, and changes
• Update MealTracker
• Assemble, print, and organize all meal tickets, daily menus, and production sheets
• Assist with the tray line
• Communicate with residents about their food preferences
• Update residents’ profiles as necessary
• Communicate with the Director and Dietician to ensure an effective and efficient workflow of the dietary department
• Assist in the dietary area as needed
• Complete other essential functions of the position as deemed necessary and appropriate

Dietary Clerk Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred

• Previous experience in post-acute/long-term care is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided
