DIGITAL ASSISTANT Job at United States Senate
Senator Bob Casey seeks a personable and organized team player who can think quickly on their feet to serve as a Digital Assistant in his Washington, DC office.
This person will be responsible for overseeing the Senator’s social media presence, including translating the Senator’s priorities for digital audiences, pitching and drafting timely content, and developing short- and long-term digital strategies. Additional responsibilities include designing graphics, editing video, and drafting content for the Senator’s digital newsletter. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of digital platforms, have the ability to tailor the Senator’s message for online audiences, and can follow current event cycles online to look for opportunities relevant to the Senator’s priorities. The role requires experience with design platforms (e.g., Adobe Photoshop and Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier), and the ability to stay connected during off-hours. Strong Pennsylvania ties are preferred. The onboarding salary for this position is $52,000 annually.
