Direct Support Professional Job at First Resources Corp
First Resources Corp. of Mount Pleasant is growing and we are searching for dedicated and energetic Full-time Direct Support Professionals. The ideal candidate would be responsible for daily services for people will work with an individual with an intellectual disability and/or chronic mental illness. The individuals we work with require 24-hour support, either in their home or out in their community.
Weekly Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
As a Direct Support Professional is there to provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like:
- Money management
- Socialization
- Cooking
- Personal hygiene
- Goal Setting and achieving
- Communication and self-expression needs
- Coping skills
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
- Satisfactory results on background check pertaining to criminal and abuse registries.
- Experience is preferred, but not required. We provide the training and tools that you need to be successful at First Resources Crop.
