The basic requirements are as follows:
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
- High school diploma or GED
- Flexible working hours and schedule
- Willing to successfully complete a criminal background check
- Willing to obtain a TB test and provide results to Paramount
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening
- May have to complete an automobile inspection
Direct Support Professional
- Provide protective oversight to individuals in the home and community
- Work with individuals to help them acquire life skills and reinforce learning using prescribed methodologies and techniques for instructions
- Provide transportation for health, business and recreational activities
- Accompany and assist individuals in accessing community resources and participating in community activities and events
- Implement personal supports and strategies based on an individual’s plan
- Complete required reports and other documentation in a timely manner
- Monitor and report individual’s progress
- Perform other related duties as required
Hours – part time, varies
Rate of Pay – Based on experience
