We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Assistant Director/School Age Program to join our dedicated team and help us transform the lives of children aged 5-12 years old.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Director/School Age Program will work closely with the Director to oversee the daily operations of our Preschool Program. As a leader within our organization, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of our young students. With your dedication and commitment, you will inspire our team to provide an unparalleled educational experience for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of our innovative curriculum, focusing on STEM activities and field trips that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

Collaborate with the Director to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages positive relationships among staff, students, and families.

Supervise, support, and mentor teachers and support staff, ensuring that they have the resources and guidance necessary to deliver exceptional educational experiences.

Organize and lead professional development opportunities to continuously improve the skills and knowledge of our teaching team.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and community partners to promote the school's mission and values.

Assist in managing the school's budget, resources, and facilities to ensure optimal use and maintenance.

Continuously assess and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to enhance and improve the overall quality of our Preschool Program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with STEM-focused curricula and activities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

A genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to creating transformative educational experiences.

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
