Position Summary
We are seeking a Director, Digital Acquisition to scale new customer acquisition growth through paid and organic digital channels across our portfolio of products/markets. Backed by one of the top PE firms in the US, and led by Former CEO, President of Groupon as well as new Leadership from companies across strong multi sector brands, you will an opportunity to make an impact in a growing business focused on, and investing in, their digital presence.

As Director, Digital Acquisition you will oversee at least one internal marketing manager and lead an extensive external agency with over 12 dedicated, integrated digital marketers across performance/paid, BI/analytics/reporting, creative, conversion rate optimization, and growth.

This role is primarily based in our Chicagoland office of Naperville IL. Our Mt Laurel New Jersey office is an option as well. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Drive new customer growth owning strategy and execution for all paid/performance marketing.
  • Develop and test new customer acquisition strategies across channels, messaging/positioning, product positioning and selection.
  • Lead team (full-stack 12 team agency and 1-2 internal) of performance marketers, CRO specialists, creative, and reporting/analytics talent
  • Develop and work with dedicated BI resources around cohort analysis, find incremental opportunity and efficient approaches to cohort level management to LTV:CAC.~ 4X a quarter
We’re Excited if This is You
  • 7+ years in marketing, 4+ in performance marketing roles (including 2 years of hands on performance channel management)
  • You have deep technical experience - utilizing paid advertising including SEM (Google, Bing, etc.), Paid, Social (FB, IG, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.), Native, or other paid channels.
  • You have a strong understanding of unit economics and know how to deliver growth against LTV:CAC restrictions.
  • You will likely have managed agencies in the past or spent time at an agency yourself.
  • You will have track record of developing growth strategies via performance channels resulting in meaningful acquisition growth in a business.
  • Ideally you have membership or subscription marketing experience.
  • Prior people manager experience with the ability to serve as a coach who rewards positive performance and addresses deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Knows how to establish followership with direct and indirect reports.
