Summary – basic function of the role
This position provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the team responsible for delivering business outcomes through the usage of the ERP system. As the leader of over 20 world-wide employees, you will oversee the implementation or upgrades of new modules, and drive continuous improvement through the business. This role coordinates ERP maintenance and enhancement efforts to leverage enterprise resources, knowledge, and best practices. You will strategize and partner closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage the ERP to better the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes. This position will report directly into the VP – IT.
Shift: Monday – Friday; 8 – 4:30 pm or 8:30 – 5:00 pm; flexible (Hybrid)
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides senior leadership, vision and managerial oversight in the development and implementation of Enerpac’s ERP strategy that enables staff to operate efficiently.
- Works on highly complex business issues that have significant impact on the enterprise, and across enterprise processes and functions, due to the integration of ERP.
- Oversees ERP projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and steering committee leadership
- Works with stakeholders and the ERP steering committee to define a prioritized set of business outcomes and work to accomplish those outcomes within the timelines agreed upon.
- Provides hands-on guidance to stakeholders in ERP modules including manufacturing, finance, warehousing, and supply chain management
- Coaches and mentors staff and IT managers at multiple levels
- Designs and leads a training program to enable efficient use of the ERP system by staff in multiple functional areas.
- Identifies areas for process automation and works with cross functional teams to develop workflows.
- Manages multiple ERP applications and integrated software applications
Skills and Competencies
- Candidate must have the proven ability to serve as an effective member of a senior management team, be an effective leader to a team of highly skilled employees and consultants
- Design, manage and lead advisory committees and interact effectively with process leaders, auditors, business leaders, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS in a manufacturing environment. Experience in architecting solutions in multiple Oracle ERP modules.
- Ability to analyze current state environment and recommend improvement opportunities and then lead the implementation of those changes.
- Candidate must have strong and proven leadership experience, business acumen combined with hands-on technical expertise in an enterprise-wide information technology department as it pertains to ERP and other applications.
- The ability to lead, enable and motivate teams by providing advice and guidance in a constructive fashion
- Ability to document and effectively communicate standards
- Highly effective in conducting and leading project meetings and negotiations
Education and Experience
Education Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of Information Technology experience including 8+ of management experience with solid background in Oracle ERP administration.
Direct Reports
- Multiple direct team members in the IT department including Business Analysts, Developers, and functional subject matter experts.
- Managers of regional support teams.
