Requirements:The Director of Core Services is responsible for leading the teams dedicated to providing partner-side IT support to all branches. This includes, but may not limited to the Proactive and Cyber Security Teams. In addition, the Director of Core Services will assist in creating and implementing strategies that create service leverage at the branch level and result in an unparalleled partner experience.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Lead, Manage, and hold your team Accountable
- Responsible for building and maintaining highly technical teams, exceeding service delivery indicators, building client relationships, being an escalation source for client issues and working with senior leadership to meet department and company objectives.
- Responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing the shared service team(s) according to industry best practices.
- Responsible for staff capacity planning, creating a culture of automation, service process design and performance analysis.
- Perform regular detailed analysis of assigned service metrics.
- Plan and implement changes to service workflow and/or resources on an as-needed basis
- Create a culture of documentation by implementing and managing the processes and procedures related to internal and client documentation.
- Work with VP of Service Operations to prepare budgets.
- Perform regular scheduled 1 on 1’s and reviews for assigned Team Leads.
- Build and maintain engineer growth plan to ensure proper staffing and specialties.
- Review and approve timecards and expense reports for direct reports.
- Ensure appropriate training initiatives are in place to assist the organization in meetings its technical and vendor goals.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years in management or 5 years equivalent work experience.
- Five years working in a Technical Support/Service Desk environment preferred.
