Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, develops, implements and directs the Maintenance Department and its' programs and activities
• Manages all capital projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety, state, and federal regulations during process. Serves as liaison to contractors, vendors, and corporate office.

• Oversees the safety, security and fire protection and prevention programs in accordance with company policies, state, federal, county and OSHA regulations to ensure facility and grounds are maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Oversees preventative maintenance functions and assigns appropriate personnel to complete tasks in a timely manner throughout our community
• Part of Senior Leadership

Required skills and qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Trade School Certifications or 3-5 years of work experience in general carpentry, electrical, plumbing or HVAC
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, boilers, compressors, generators, various mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems
• Knowledge of state, federal and OSHA regulations for long-term care facilities.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
