Position Description:
This role will support the Executive Director in specified areas to further the mission of the Center.��Specifically, the Assistant Director will work collaboratively to ensure the day-to-day business and financial functions of the Kentucky Autism Training Center (KATC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge of Kentucky's systems of support for families and �autistics. Have experience with and knowledge of working in BAM, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks Possess a minimum of five years of experience in higher education or university setting. Have effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Position Description:
This role will support the Executive Director in specified areas to further the mission of the Center.��Specifically, the Assistant Director will work collaboratively to ensure the day-to-day business and financial functions of the Kentucky Autism Training Center (KATC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to KATC executive director in the day-to-day management of the Center to include supporting the development and management of the Center budget, development of budgets, supervision of KATC operations in the absence of the KATC Executive Director and making collaborative management decisions with Assistant Director of Learning and Development Methods.
- Establish and maintain a relationship with state and local community agencies to collaborate in supporting the mission of KATC.
- Analyze data trends related to historical budget and actual performance to develop models to support unit and university initiatives and strategic goals.
- Engage in continuous critical analysis of existing systems, policies, and processes; interpret internal policy and external regulations; and make recommendations to attain greater business management and efficiencies.
- Coordinate budget analysis projects, including preparing budget estimates and implementing budget changes; analyze budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with organizational objectives; determine strategies for managing resources to capitalize on funding opportunities and advancing priority initiatives; and conduct special projects and analyses relating to planning and budgeting as assigned.
- Provide financial advice to the Executive Director and others as needed.
- Monitor the department's annual and monthly budget and financial activities, utilizing various data platforms (BAM, EAB, APS) for budget analytics.
- Prepare budget analysis and projections related to revenue and expenses. Develop and prepare pro forma statements department.
- Monitor financials, inclusive of general funds, gifts, endowments, scholarships, and grants.
- Oversee, develop, and conduct training for staff related to internal and external University processes.
