Overview
Freebee’s Director of Recruiting will be responsible for overseeing the entire recruiting cycle of our Driver Ambassador employees within the varying transportation services we offer throughout over 30+ communities in Florida & Virginia. We are seeking a highly energetic and mission-driven individual who can build a world-class recruiting team and ensure that the company’s hiring objectives are met with the highest quality of candidates. In this leadership role, they will manage a team of Recruiting Managers/Coordinators and organize their daily workflow in order to ensure optimal productivity throughout every phase of the hiring cycle.
The Director of Recruiting will also be responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of qualified candidates across various geographical areas. They will work closely with Freebee’s Operations and Human Resources teams to understand the company’s staffing needs and ensure that the hiring objectives are met on a weekly basis. Additionally, they will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing recruiting metrics to ensure the team is meeting its goals and making data-driven decisions to improve performance. As the leader for most talent acquisition initiatives, the Director of Recruiting will also play a critical role in shaping Freebee’s organizational chart by hiring for multiple management and leadership roles throughout the company.
What you’ll do
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters to ensure that they are meeting the company’s hiring goals and delivering high-quality onboarding experiences to all Driver Ambassador candidates
- Design and implement clear, metrics-driven processes to track and evaluate the effectiveness of all recruiting programs and initiatives.
- Act as lead recruiter for leadership roles across the entire organizational structure, including oversight and execution over the end-to-end candidate process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Regional Performance Managers and Human Resources, to understand the job requirements and develop a compelling employee value proposition for this role.
- Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Assist with preparing hiring forecasts and develop a strong pipeline for frequently filled positions.
- Partner with the training and development team to create onboarding and ongoing training programs for Driver Ambassadors.
- Act as lead recruiter for executive/senior leadership roles, including oversight over the end-to-end candidate process.
- Ensure that the company's recruiting processes comply with all applicable laws and regulations on a state by state basis.
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing Team to create and maintain a strong employment brand and talent acquisition strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or another adjacent field
- 10+ years of experience in Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity for a team of recruiting professionals
- Possess a basic knowledge of recruitment technology tools and platforms
- Effective interpersonal skills with an innate ability to develop trusted relationships with senior leadership and regional management.
- A proven track record of setting and achieving company-wide hiring goals
- Fluent in both English & Spanish
- Based in Miami as an in-office position
