THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Director, Field Training, you will be responsible for implementing field and regional training program execution for all U.S. restaurants. Provides leadership for Regional Training Managers (RTM) who work as a support partner for Executive Team Directors coordinating training programs and roll out of new initiatives. Provides leadership for New Restaurant Opening Managers (NRO) who coordinate new restaurant openings. Reports to and works strategically with VP of Operations Services to uphold a best-in-class training culture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and lead Chipotle’s restaurant and field training and development programs, curriculum and learning systems; host Train-the-Trainer workshops
• Collaborate and partner with operations and human resources in the development and implementation of computer based learning programs, including management of the Company’s Learning Management Systems
• Conduct a needs analysis by researching and identifying learning gaps and requirements
• Partner with operations and corporate in the design, development and execution of learning and development solutions
• Ensure consistent and effective implementation of restaurant and field training standards across the Company using blended learning solutions
• Partner with operational leaders and corporate to assess, design, implement, measure, and continuously improve restaurant and field training and performance solutions and interventions
• Anticipate and forecast restaurant and field training and development needs to sustain organizational growth, including the development of charters, roadmaps, and curriculums
• Provide corporate and field management with insightful reports and analyses related to the effectiveness of all restaurant and field training and development programs and initiatives
• Provide supervision and follow up on NRO effectiveness

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, or related field
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 8+ years’ training management experience including training and development theories, methodologies, and strategies
• 5-8 years’ supervisory experience preferred
• Situational leadership across multiple functions, Selecting and Developing Effective teams, Drive for results, Leader of purpose and values, Self-Awareness, Communicating Effectively
• Ability to travel

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $206,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
