Director of Sales Job at Served With Honor
Position Summary:
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing all sales efforts for the Served With Honor group’s 100% remote sales teams. They will contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics to meet and exceed sales goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises a total of 6 direct reports and 50 + indirect employees in the sales departments. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Leads the development and execution of the overall sales strategy, including new opportunities and areas for improvement for each entity within the Served With Honor group. -
Utilizes and interprets data to develop, present, and implement new sales strategies and tactics to meet and exceed sales goals.

Partners with the leaders of Served With Honor entities to maintain expert knowledge of all sales activities to include helping develop and manage sales processes and procedures.

Collaborates with C-Suite leaders to develop and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals of Served With Honor entities and ensure executives are informed on progress of those goals.

Works closely with the Served With Honor Training Department to create and implement sales training programs tailored to each Served With Honor entity.

Helps teach, train, and equip personnel across the Served With Honor companies with sales strategies and tactics to ensure successful attainment of sales goals.

Drafts detailed and accurate sales reports and forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis, as needed.

Leads and motivates fully remote sales teams through high-energy enthusiasm, consistent virtual communication, and collaboration.

Assesses costs, competition, and supply/demand of potential new products or services, including risk vs. reward tradeoff analysis.

Collaborates with the Served With Honor Marketing Department to ensure marketing materials and campaigns align with the sales goals and ideal customer profiles for each company.

Collaborates with the Served With Honor Technology Department to improve current systems and/or implement new systems that will increase performance of sales teams.

Attracts, retains, and develops high performing sales teams that meet and exceed expectations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
-
7+ years’ experience in sales
-
5+ years of sales management experience with proven leadership skills over teams of 10+ people

Must be able to bring your own home office set-up and equipment to the role to include computer or laptop with functional camera & audio, as well as high-speed, reliable internet.
Preferred Qualifications:

Sales experience working in fast-paced, remote environments.

Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, feel, or reach with hands and arms.

Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
