Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of professional experience, including 8 years of technical program management experience and 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience communicating and working with engineering and product teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Product Engineering. Infrastructure, platform and API technology.

As a Director, you will lead the Technical Program Management team for Workspace Communications and Time Management (CTM) which encompasses Gmail, Chat, and Spaces, Calendar, Tasks, and Groups. You will be responsible for managing ongoing programs to build toward our roadmap. You will lead highly complex and high stakes projects, serving as the strategic partner for Engineering and Product leadership. Always biased toward action, you will mitigate risks, break down logjams, escalate when necessary, and facilitate efficient execution toward our business goals.
In this role, You will flex across strategic and operational efforts, including leading and contributing to the growth, development, and overall health of the organization. This will be accomplished through ensuring effective communication, alignment, and execution of the organization’s strategy and roadmap both within the organization and with Workspace more broadly, running special projects and strategic organization efforts, and helping to run the business cadence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $226,000-$338,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of program managers and technical program managers and drive the delivery of CTM portfolio.
- Acts as a thought partner to the Vice President on a long-term outlook. Manage annual strategic business planning process in coordination with partners. Facilitate communication and decision-making with leaders and teams within the organization and across Workspace.
- Establish and lead operating processes for managing the CTM organization. Run core operations, strategic planning, Head Count and budget management, organizational communications, and program management to improve growth.
- Serve as a stakeholder and thought leader on the CTM cross-functional leadership team. Partner with Engineering, UX, Product Management, Engineering Productivity, and Site Reliability Engineering leadership to help define and deliver long-term strategy and portfolio supporting CTM.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop product roadmaps and translate them into integrated actionable plans.
