Responsibilities

• Acts as a communication liaison and answers incoming phone calls from drivers and customers to schedule customers' requests accurately ensuring operational efficiency
• Develops and maintains professional and amicable relationships with customers and drivers
• Collaborates with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
• Assigns routes and service tickets to drivers throughout the day
• Determines daily level of drivers needed to ensure optimal responsiveness and productivity
• Troubleshoots and resolves potential service issues to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments
• Monitors any sudden route changes or road construction issues and works with drivers to establish new routes for timely services
• Data entry for weekly and monthly reports
• Maintains and updates dispatch boards and grids, call logs, call records, and other important documentation

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Proficient in English and Spanish) required
• Minimum 2 years of customer service and dispatching experience in Waste Service, Logistics or Transportation atmosphere preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong typing and data entry skills
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
