Position Responsibility

The Dispatcher directs activities related to dispatching and managing the tour loop and charters in the transportation operations. Ensures trolleys are progressing timely in the tour loop with minimum delays.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions
• Must have a high degree of self-motivation and must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to any problems that may arise
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees, the general public, law enforcement and emergency personnel
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure
• Must be computer literate

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
• Experience with dispatching vehicles in a sightseeing tour loop preferred
• Must have a valid MA Driver’s License with an acceptable and verifiable driving record of at least three years

Successful candidate must undergo a drug test and a background search.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
